What We Do - How we work
GroupWorX works in a variety of roles with our clients, from pure coaching of internal knowledge management teams on "day at a time" basis, to participating as team members or being accountable as team leaders in major knowledge management implementation programs. The nature of our role is determined jointly with our client during an initial "Assessment and Design" phase.
A common thread among these roles is our emphasis on knowledge transfer to the teams we work with so that they can continue to evolve the level of knowledge GroupWorX management excellence in their firms.
We begin by determining together how your business strategy can be supported with knowledge management approaches. After an initial mapping and rapid design process we move quickly to a pilot implementation in a representative area of your business as a means of evolving the concepts and making them more practical for your business. Based on what we learn together in the pilot areas, we move to mobilize your entire business for these new ways of working.
We believe in having fun at work. For us this means both the intrinsic satisfaction of learning to do a difficult job well, and also the fun of working with a team of motivated, capable people from our client and from GroupWorX who "sign up" for a common goal. And we like to laugh a lot...
We "walk our talk". GroupWorX has no bricks and mortar offices, our people choose their home base for personal, rather than business reasons. We work "virtually" from home offices and at client sites, communicating with each other and with our clients by e-mail, the Internet home pages, groupware networks, video conferencing, and plain old telephone in addition to face to face.
